My wife and I are in our early 50's and have been on 11 cruises - 2 many years ago and 9 within the last 5 years. We don't favor 1 line over another as it seems many people on cruise critic do. Our cruises break down to 3 on Princess, 3 on Royal and 3 on Carnival. We had an inside cabin and prefer to take multiple cruises each year rather than splurge for 1 with a balcony

This cruise was booked solely for the low price and timing. We have been to all 3 ports in the past - Cozumel, Grand Caymen, and Jamaica. We prefer the Eastern Carribean ports of Nassau, Puerto Rico, and St.Maarteen or any of the Southern Carribean Ports.

Embarkation was simple: We live in New Jersey and went to Disney for a few days as we own a Disney Time Share. Lucky we did, as a huge snowstorm hit the day after we left and we never would have gotten to Miami. Drove down from Orlando with a rented car from Alamo - they have a free shuttle to the cruise ships. We were on board in approx. 30 minutes.
