I personally don't understand how anyone can judge the cruise we just went on as anything but great.
Except for a few most of the people we met were wonderful & will continue to be our friends back on land, the staff were exceptional & very helpful even under some very adverse conditions (we did go through a cyclone which lasted in excess of 24 hours).
Our cabin was always kept clean & tidy by the steward assigned & nothing was too much trouble for him.
A water pipe did break on deck 5 but the staff worked hard too ensure passengers were not inconvenienced too much. This pipe burst not far from our cabin & there were only about 7 cabins at the most that were affected, & those that did were offered other cabins (as I was told by one of the passengers affected). We also did not experience any sewerage problems, in or near our cabin.
A lot of passengers did get sea sick and again the staff worked their backsides off to clean up after everyone. One of the lifts was a bit whiffy for a few days but what does anyone really expect.
If a 5 star plus cruise is what you want then book & pay the price don't book a 3 star cruise and complain about every little thing including not having enough room for a slice of lemon in the glass of water ................can you believe someone did actually do this.
The cruise we experienced was great & maybe there are better ones out there but we have NO COMPLAINTS & thank all the staff & our friends for making it SO GOOD.
