Being first time cruisers, we were excited and did not really know what to expect. Thanks to the great help and suggestions of our travel agent we chose a balcony state room on deck 6. The cabin was spacious for a ship cabin and the bathroom as big (or should I say small) as on any ship. But enough for the two of us. The king bed was great and there was even a sofa in the cabin. There was also a hair dryer mounted to the bathroom wall. For the ladies: If you need a good and powerful hair dryer: bring one along! The stateroom attendants were great. They serviced the room twice a day - what a luxury - and their towel animals every evening were a lot of fun! We chose the late seating for dinner. Jimmy, our waiter was a lot of fun and the whole team did a dance during dinner - that was sooo funny! We went to see a show almost every night right after dinner. They did a fantastic job and the singer and dancers were great. We (only) had one full day of "fun at sea" and enjoyed the pool area. The pools are not huge but big enough to cool down. The water slide was great and even the "big kids" like me had a blast!. Their fitness room was huge and we even attended a few classes. We stopped at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay (my favorite!) and Nassau. Everything was great! In Grand Turk, we wanted to escape the crowds and too a taxi to a nearby village - we walked through the village and along the shore to find our private beach, it was great!. The beach at Half Moon Cay was truly amazing. Getting off the ship was a bit of a hassle, as we had to disembark on little vessels (no pier), but with a bit of patiance it went well, too! My tip: Book an early excursion to get off the boat first. In Nassau, we walked ourselves through the city and discovered some nice places like the Queens' Stairs, Governor's place and a little hotel with an own cigar factory! Even though the ship was not the newest, everything was clean and top notch!!! I can truly recommend it!
