The Pride is an amazing ship with an amazing crew and we would love to cruise again someday. That being said, we may wait a few years as cruising with our 14 month old and 4 year old daughters was challenging and a bit too much for us. I read every review I could find and planned as well as anyone could plan and still was not fully prepared for life aboard. My tips...

Packing Crib-I debated to bring or not to bring a porta crib, don't. The cribs provided and full (not foldaway) on wheels and are clean and in very good condition, I am picky but I was pleased. However do bring baby blankets and reserve the crib ahead of time.

Stroller-bring your umbrella stroller. You will be glad to have it in the terminal and to walk onto the ship, you will probably have your hands full and it's nice to throw jackets etc. over the arms. I would try to avoid a full size stroller if possible, the stateroom doorway is a tight squeeze and our umbrella stroller just barely fit and it's often difficult to navigate through a crowded area like the elevators.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8

Great location for seasickness issues. Midship right by elevators, close to food. Quiet and lots of closet space.
