Our trip was fantastic! We planned our wedding on board the Glory. Carnival did a great job with the planning, ceremony and reception. It went off without a hitch. We arrived in Miami Friday afternoon and spent the day at Southbeach. Sunday we made our way to the port of Miami bright and early. Carnival asked us to be there with our wedding guests by 10:30am. We arrived as planned and they had our paperwork complete in just a few minutes. We had a seperate area to wait for embarkation while the boat was cleared by customs. We were the first to board. We were escorted to our cabin 7282 at 11am. Wedding and reception were great though short as we expected. It's a lot to acomish in such a short time. Our non sailing guests were escorted fro the ship at 3pm and we were off with our photographer to take pictures. Muster drill was smooth other than the fact we were late do to photography. It was laid back compared to other cruise lines. No life jackets required, no roll call, they didn't repeat instructions in 10 languages and you had a group of life boats you were assigned to rather than trying to find the specific one.

First day at sea was relaxing and nothing unusual.

At Cozumel we were surprised to find we were docked 4 miles from town. It was a LONG walk. We cabbed back and forth a few times after that. We love the shopping in Cozumel so we didn't bother win an excursion.
