This was the first time that we had cruised and, on speaking with others on the ship I think we chose well!

All the flights were on time, which in this day an age I think is amazing! We had a nice room at the Hilton, Fort Lauderdale overlooking the marina, although check-in was rather slow. The next morning we boarded the ship with ease and obtained our sea passes. Being greeted with a glass of chanpagne was a nice touch. I then went up to the spa and made my hair appointments as I had heard that they get booked up! We then explored the ship a little before having a lovely buffetlunch in the Ocean View. The announcement was then made that our staterooms were ready and we found ours and went to unpack. We were very impressed with our stateroom - having heard they were small, we did not agree. It was spacious and everything there we needed. The bathroom was particularly impressive with plenty of room to unpack your toiletries and put away. The large bed was so comfortable we slept well every night. We made good use of our balcony, having breakfast out there most days and sometimes afternoon tea.

The ship is truly beautiful, lovely design feautures. Yes it did get crowded around the pool but you could always find somewhere quiet on the ship to relax if you wanted to. We enjoyed all the activites on offer and I was thrilled to find scrapbooking on board!

Cabin Review

Nice cabin, nice balcony. A little noisy when docking.
