We traveled as a family of 3 with our 10 year old son. We previously were on the Majesty and Serenade and wanted to try Voyager class.
Embarkation: Drove to Cape Liberty from L.I. N.Y. We encountered traffic- took 1 3/4 hours. Arrived at terminal at 12:10PM. Dropped off luggage & husband parked car. We had priority check in since we were in a Junior Suite. Check in took less time than taking credit card out of wallet! We also had priority boarding of shuttle to ship. Arrived on-board at 12:30. Rooms not ready until 1:00, but went to our cabin, anyway.
Cabin: Aft Junior Suite 7392. Very spacious and clean. More than ample closet/storage space for 3. Sitting area with couch, 2 chairs and table. Very large balcony overlooking aft of ship. One lounge and 3 regular chairs and large table for dining. Love the room. HOWEVER- once the engines started, we felt vibrations from some sort of motor two decks below on deck 5. Vibration was really bad at night. Could "hear" vibration when head on pillow! When we had guests in the suite, they felt it, too. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, but we're mid-ship next time! The cabin (and the whole ship) was rocking while we were navigating around the back side of Hurricane Frances. We did not mind the rocking; we got used to it. Some passengers were a little queasy.
