Sail Date: Mar 2010

I ventured on this holiday with a great deal of trepidation as I did not read the negative reviews on the ship until after booking. I have cruised before on a more up to date ship, spent a £1000 more and the cruise was not as good as this one.

The cabin we had was designed for 4 people as it had fold up bunk beds, for two of us there was plenty of room. The shower room is small but has a toilet washbasin and shower what else do you need? The bedding was very clean and comfortable. Originally I was in a cabin at the very front of the ship and not being a good traveller felt sick after a couple of nights, I was moved to a cabin mid ships with no problem. The food is plentiful and good, the entertainment first rate and the staff helpful, friendly and hard working. Drinks on board are very reasonable with a cocktail costing £2.50 - £3, cheaper than down your local!

The trips are good value and I was very satisfied with the one I went on, if you feel like finding your way around yourself most ports of call have open top tourist buses that you can hop on and off all day for approx €12.
