This is our first cruise.. We did it on the Pride of America and had a wonderful experience - even with an inside cabin. The waters where fairly smooth for most of the voyage and I did not experience any seasickness.

The ship was brilliant - especially going to each different restaurant and trying out their menus - plus being able to order what you want without worrying about the cost. On the Skyline restaurant we ordered a bottle of wine and we where able to finish it the next night since they put the bottle in storage. The Cadillac diner was average but would be good for families as the kids would have more that they would like.

On the Thursday night was Luau night where half the boat went onshore - it was kind of expensive so we stayed on and took up the 2 for 1 cover charge at the Jefferson Bistro - so pleased we did as we were able to try the Escargoe without having to worry whether we would like it as we could just order something else if we didn't without worrying about cost - we it was actually very nice !
