As a little background, I am a 52 year old gay male. My partner and I have done seventh cruises, two on Carnival, one on Celebrity and this trip was our fourth on Royal Caribbean.

Embarkation We booked the cruise directly through the Royal Caribbean web site. One area Royal Caribbean is weak on is feeding information back to the customer. One month after booking the cruise I called to get information on our flights. I wanted to make sure in flying from Los Angeles to Miami that we did not have an overnight flight. On this call I received our flight information and confirmation number. We never received anything else from Royal Caribbean. I was expecting an email with this information.

When we arrived in Miami, the agents were asking for a bus transfer to the ship. Not receiving any information we did not have any transfers. The agents were able to look on a Master List, saw our names and allowed us to board the bus to the pier.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Great location mid ship. The waves from the front wake of the ship break just outside the cabin. Leaving the window open makes it sound like you are at the ocean.
