This is our 12th cruise all with Carnival.(If it's not broken why fix it...)We arrived at Port Canaveral at 2:45pm as the weather in our Beautiful state was not cooperating with it's moniker(SUNSHINE STATE),we decided that morning to drive over to the port later than we usually like because of NASTY weather...We arrived at the port and found parking easily on the 5th floor garage.Embarkation:NO lines at the counter for checking in as we had arrived so late.We proceeded to board this beautiful ship, the atrium was very nice , although it didn't seem as big as other Carnival ships. The life boat drill was GREAT as we did not need life jackets or to stand outside we where able to just sit in crimson dining room for the drill. We made it to meet n mingle at 5:45 and most people where already gone but to the few we met, it was nice to SEE YOU.

Day 1:Nassau Feb.28 (Sunday) We chose not to leave the ship as we have been to this port several times over the years, as it is a stop over point for what seems like every ship in Carnivals fleet. The weather was also chilly for us Floridians 62 and gusty winds. We took the time to explore the ship and all her wonders.

Day 2:Day at Sea March 1 (Monday) We woke up around 9 am and went to have breakfast, NO EXTRA LONG LINES,just a few minute wait because of bacon and toast area at end of buffet. We had no problems finding deck space at the aft of the ship near the bar area. This day it was warmer, around 72 to 74 and not really windy.Bar service for this area is excellent as you are near the bar.
