We traveled with my mother in law on this cruise. My MIL was paying for this cruise and had not been on a cruise in 20 years. She didn't care about what type of cabin we had. I tried to talk her into a balcony and she said she didn't want or need a balcony. I did book us a cabin overlooking the Promenade on Deck 8. On Day 2, my MIL said, I think I would have liked a Balcony and that is what I want next time.

We had stayed overnight at the Fawlty Towers and had a pre-booked and paid for shuttle on Cocoa Beach Shuttles. We stood out in front of the hotel for one hour waiting for the shuttle. We started waiting at 11:00am and he finally picked us up at noon. Unfortunately, this hour wait put us at a huge wait at embarkation. It was extremely crowded, did not go fast, and was uncomfortable. The 3 of us went ot lunch at the Windjammer. The Windjammer was also crowded. The Muster Drill was also not pleasant. It was extremely hot and we were so tired from standing in line at embarkation, the Windjammer and everywhere else. I was really glad to get this first day over with.

We had some really rough weather the last day of sailing which was a cruise day, and we had some rough weather in the evenings. I did get sea sick somewhat and by the time I started taking sea sick medicine it was too late. Next time I will see a doctor before hand. This is the second cruise for us and we had rough weather on both of them.

Cabin Review

Cabin # 8625. The cabin was fine for an inside cabin. The state room was bigger than I thought it would be.
