We left Indianapolis on AirTrans for Ft. Lauderdale Florida on the 20th of February 2010. Upon arrival we had already confirmed with SAS transportation to take us to our hotel in Miami. I cannot recommend this company enough, they were efficient and for just $13pp very inexpensive. We stayed at Roadway Inn Miami airport. The only reason we stay here is because they have free shuttle to the airport. It's not the greatest hotel, but it worked for us. They also provided us with a very nice breakfast which was included in the price of $99.00 Embarktion: We arrived at the port around noon, and there was a line already forming outside the building. Check in started to be a breeze, but when it was our turn in line, we stepped up to check in and the computers in the whole port went down. It took at least 30 to 45 minutes before they could get the problem solved. They were very nice, and offered people water and juice. People were sitting on the floor waiting. There was nothing NCL could have done to prevent this, since it affected the whole port. Once on board, we walked around and then the party started. The band started, the ship was moving, along with all the line dancers. That evening we ate around the pool, which was set up with grills, cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken. Delicious! Cabin: We had balcony cabin 9008. It was very sufficient for us. The bed was heavenly with a tempurpedic mattress and duvet cover with lots of pillows. We stored our luggage under our bed which worked perfectly. There was plenty of storage space. A trick I learned from CC, was to hang a clear shoe bag on our bathroom door to keep our lotions, hairspray, hairbrushes, etc. in. It worked great to keep our bathroom organized. Room Steward: Our room steward was Indra Hafiz. He was wonderful. He kept everything fully stocked and went out of his way to be very friendly to us, even calling us by name. Every morning we had coffee delivered to our room. I called the night before, and asked them to deliver it at a certain time. They would call and tell us the coffee was on the way up. What a way to wake up! Monday Sea Day: This day we just relaxed by the pool, and ate. My husband enjoyed the casino. Food: We ate several times in the Garden Cafe. I thought everything was delicious. I enjoyed Wilson's waffles every morning! Le Bistro: All of us ate here one evening. I had the beef tenderloin and it was delicious. We were running late to get to the show, and we were offered to come back after the show for our desserts. It worked out great, they had a table all ready for us. I had the chocolate fondue with fruit...YUM! Ma Ma"s Kitchen: I had fettuccine Alfredo, and it was very good. Again, we were allowed to come back after the show for our desserts. This night we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the water while eating. Cagney's Steakhouse: Wow! Can't say enough good things about this place! I had colossal shrimp for an appetizer. I should have taken a picture of it, no one would believe the size of this shrimp! I had rib eye, baked potato, and salad after that....DELICIOUS! All the food we had was wonderful! Shows: We enjoyed all the shows. The Cirque Bijou was probably my favorite. The Jean Ann Ryan Company are very talented.

As you can tell, I'm pretty sold on NCL! This is our second cruise with them, and they have not let us down yet! As a matter of fact, we put money down on another cruise with them within the next four years...you never know it may be on the Epic!

Cabin BC

Balcony room 9008 forward. Great room, quiet, nice balcony. Probably would get balcony cabin mid ship next time, for less walking.
