Sail Date: Jan 2010

My husband and I have been on about 12 cruises before. They ranged from 7 days to 29 days (back to back)and we just love cruising. We are now retired so we have more time to seek out those very cool cruises!

This past winter (end of Jan 2010)our embarkation was actually Bayonne, NJ. We were on the Explorer of the Seas. She is almost identical to the Navigator of the Seas which we took for 7 days in the western Caribbean islands back in 2006 with our teenage boys. Another fun cruise.

Generally speaking when we cruise, we like to get off the ship and just romp around, shop a little and sight see a little. Sometimes we will do an excursion through the ship or make one up ourselves. Depending on the island, length of stay if we were there before and what we found out through travel books at home prior to the trip.

Cabin Review

We liked the cabin and the bed. The laundry bag is a bit small. Everthing else was fine.Disembarkation was smooth as usual and we appreciate that!
