Background Information - My husband and I booked this cruise with two other couples. We used vacationstogo.com (this is the travel agency I always use for booking cruises - this is our fourth time using them). We booked almost 8 months in advance because our friends were really excited about taking a group vacation. We are in our early 30s. The other two couples were first-time cruisers.

Hotel Info We stayed at the Rodeway Inn and Suites in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the cruise. Our flight was delayed almost three hours and we didn't get in until 1am. The hotel knew we were coming in late because I called to confirm the shuttle. They sent the driver home anyway and we were forced to take a taxi. Then, because we were displeased with their service, they put us in the room furthest from the lobby and it was unfinished (a bed was missing!). I would not recommend this hotel.

Ship Info The ship is large and very well-maintained. I would be surprised if it weren't well-maintained because it's relatively new. There are multiple bars, pools, floors, activities, etc. It would be hard to not find something to do.

Cabin Review

Cabin 7589 - view of promenade. They hang one of the banners right outside this room so it partially blocks your view. I would stay on the other side of the ship because no banners were hung on that side. Very small closet, in fact, it was so small we almost couldn't store our two suitcases in there. Very limited drawer space. Two tiny couches. Limited space for walking around the bed.
