We were looking for a cheap getaway and this cruise met our needs. We weren't amazed by the ship, food, or entertainment but for what we paid, we were able to relax and enjoy the cruise.

THE SHIP: The Sensation still has a lot of neon and even though it was updated a few years ago, the ship is still dated. The rooms are small - very small. Our bathroom was very tiny.

THE FOOD: We ate room service for breakfast which was great. The food was delivered timely. The room service menu is very limited; breakfasts are continental style and lunch/dinner consists of various sandwiches. We ate at the buffet for lunch and dinner most days. The buffet was good. There's enough choice for everyone. Don't expect to be amazed by the food. It's actually good - just not great. We ate in the dining room one evening and the food was really good. It was better than the buffet but not awesome. The chocolate melt cake is incredible! I've read comments about this dessert and I have to say that I agree - one of the best desserts I've ever had!!! The desserts were actually really good.

Cabin Review

Tiny bathroom. Within earshot of one of the lounges so you can hear the music from 9pm - 11pm every night.
