Let me be the first to say that I am glad that the Saints won the Superbowl, but weeks later... can you give the Who Dat! a break? After the first 500 times it was no longer cute or inspiring. So let that be the backdrop for this review.

First of all, I should have taken into account that since it was Mardi Gras break, there would be some kids on the ship... Just not 822 of them! Of that 822, 82 were well behaved and disciplined and still having a good time. It was the other 90% that neither their parents or Carnival had any concern about. We were constantly dodging children running through the corridors and chasing them out of the adult hot tubs. We thought we might be able to escape them at the bars or in the casino. Nope! Then we thought.. at least we can go up to the top deck, they don't allow kids up there. Nope, the last vestige of any escape, the Topless Deck, the only place you could go to be alone, was gone.

The ship was fine, although it does look as if it could use a little bit of refurbishing. Food, impeccable as always. Service for late dining was good.

Cabin Review

We were on deck six with a double bed. We were very much surprised to have plenty of closet space, a large shower area and a nice balcony. I'm surprised that Carnival hasn't gone to flat screens for their TVs. That would give even more impression of more space in the room.
