My husband and I went on the Celebrity Century for the second time in December of 09, the first time being exactly one year prior in 08. The first time was to Key West and Grand Cayman and the second to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Both times we booked the cruise at the last minute: within about 10 days of cruising and had no onboard problems. This trip we were the last people on board and just may have been the reason the ship did not leave port till after 6pm!

Food was as good as I remembered, as we ordered room service between every meal. Dining in the main room was excellent! However, my husband found the buffet severely lacking and did not like anything except for the sushi. He also reminded me that they messed up our dinner arrangement, we were supposed to be eating alone at a table, but instead ate with a family with two little kids.

Our stateroom attendant was virtually a joke this second time around! Our water pitcher was refilled maybe twice and our ice bin was only refilled once. The last time we cruised on the ship, our wine was put on ice and our water pitcher never ran dry. This time our wine, sitting on the same table as the ice pitcher, was never given the same consideration. He also ignored our DO NOT Disturb sign as he came in several times without a knock. We didn't feel too bad when we left our room service trays outside the room for him to pick up.
