This trip was a company trip with family. I booked 4 cabins and received a good price with it being last minute. I will attempt to keep this brief. The staff on this ship seemed overly eager to sell. The poolside waiters made you feel like you were downtown Ochos Rios harassing a sell. You would have a difficult time holding a conversation without being hassled for a bucket of beer. If you purchase a Pepsi card, be ready to be looked at like a cheapo. They don't make tips on this so beware.

The rooms were normal size and comfortable until about 10 p.m. They would turn the air up and the room would be hot. This was a big problem with the 10' seas we were having. The casinos were the lowest payout I have ever seen. You don't expect to win in any cruise casino due to no regulations. However, it was so bad that $100 would take about 5-10 minutes. This particular cruise seemed to be a nickle and dime cruise. Maybe Freestyle obviously isn't for me. The eating arrangements were nice considering you had many choices. However, we found out pretty quick that the upgrade restaurants that required a fee were hands down better than the normal dining or the buffet. When you are footing the bill for 8 it can get very expensive to have a good meal. Our group combined spent over $9000 not counting the cruise fee and extra tips. So you can see where an eye roll on a pepsi card may be frustrating.

The Kids camp staff was better than perfect. I was really surprised about this. They really went out of their way. Hats off to the staff in the Kids area.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin ID

We always like the inside cabins because it is dark and cold at night. We don't spend tons of time in the cabin. This one was aft and very rough at night. The beds were comfortable. The pillow were nice. The TV was about 10" and very difficult to see. The bathroom was normal size with good hot water. The hair dryer worked well. The shampoo and soap dispenser spent more time on the floor than it did on the wall. The towels were average. The space was sufficient. The lighting was great. The safe worked well.
