Princess is cutting corners. Pretty deeply as I noticed at breakfast. No boxes of imported, specialty teas, just Liptons. No omelet stations, no specialty breakfast items. Even peanut butter was kept under lock and key.

To increase or at least stabilize revenues, Princess offers a myriad of upscale options, at a cost. Hate crowds by the pool- try the Sanctuary private sun lounge for $20 a day. Tired of your table mates or the dull entree choices for dinner, spend an extra $50 for two and remember what good food tastes like. Sticker shocked, but still eager for upscaling - you can purchase 'gourmet' coffee and ice cream.

FOOD- Do not miss Vines for sushi or the International Cafe for pastries and quiches. No doubt these delicious venues will probably be surcharged soon, as being an upscale experience.

Tiny balcony. Loved the location- on the same floor as the pools, bars and buffet.
