We did VIP check in at 11:00 and were on the ship at noon. It did not seem that VIPs had priority boarding as the Lido deck was very crowded upon arrival.

Having placed our cruise deposit on 4/18/09, we were eligible for the Early - Saver promotion, and submitted a claim form online for a $265.00 onboard credit for the price difference. Carnival claims my online claim form was never received, and refused to give us our onboard credit. If anyone else sailing with Carnival had issues and did not receive their Early Saver onboard credit, I appreciate you contacting me at: acantley@bak.rr.com.

Our cabin was ready at 1:30 so we went to our cabin to unpack and nap. We enjoyed the 4:00 embarkation on our balcony.
