Sail Date: Feb 2010
Cabin: Grand Suite
Traveled with children

We had a group of eight (family of four, family of three and family patriarch!) traveling together. We had three cabins (two on Upper Deck, one on Main Deck) for the four-day trip to the Bahamas with stops in Freeport and Nassau.

We arrived on Saturday February 6 in Orlando and stayed there for the night. The next morning, the space shuttle Endeavour was scheduled for a launch at 0439 (which seven of us woke up for), but that was scrubbed due to weather.

We took the Cocoa Beach Shuttle (http://www.cbshuttle.com/) from Orlando to Port Canaveral (for the eight of us, I think it was just under $100 each way before tip). No complaints about their service: The driver promised us someone would be there to meet the boat upon its return and, just as advertised, we had a driver waiting for us on Thursday morning the second we walked off the boat.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Cabin U70: Close to midship elevators. We didn't hear a sound from the cabins on either side of us. Cabin is in the GS category, so has upgraded bathroom (full jacuzzi bath instead of shower) and private balcony. It is the first cabin in the row of suites in the middle of the boat.
