We are first time cruisers with Disney Cruise Lines but this is our fifth cruise and the third with the children. Our girls are ages 3 and 5 yrs. We have sailed with Carnival and RCI with the children before. Here is a review of the cruise as we saw it. I realize everyone has different experiences and different tastes.
Embarkation: Was quick and smooth, although I will say we are Canadians and our line for check in was very short! We took the cruise transfers from Pop Century and that went fine as well. We arrived around 2pm. Were on the ship within a half hour total. Debarkation was very fast as well!! Take advantage of the express airline check in feature, well worth it! When we left the terminal to board our motor coach through Disney to the airport, we weren't asked for our names at any point and no one else was either!! I paid a lot of money for that and could have easily just got on for free! I don't know if this is the norm or they were all just too cold to check a list.
Our room: It was fine. We had a large window, no noise from our room, it was clean, nice to have the two bathrooms, although it makes them even tinier than usual being divided into two but still nice.
Cabin 7510. Was quite a walk to pool area. Floor 7 was a good location, two floors up to pool, 2 down to children's clubs, no need for elevators. Room was quiet, clean, no issues. Some rocking a couple of nights when waves were 14 feet high. Close to Walt Disney Theatre for evening entertainment.
