It's all about Us

Sail Date: January 2010
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We had a great experience on Celebrity Solstice. We found the ship to be elegant and understated. Every detail was attended to. Service throughout was excellent.

The only complaint we had was the Silk Harvest Restaurant. We are avid Asian Cuisine diners...having Sushi almost every week at home. We were expecting an incredible meal for the additional $50/couple extra charge. Even though the service was great and the servers tried very hard to please us, each course was lacking quality. We did address this to the Maitre'd and to Guest Relations and they credited our Shipboard account almost immediately.

We heard that the Murano was supposed to be incredible but we ran out of time to get there. Next time!!!

Each area of the ship was different and special but flowed nicely. We had a private balcony stateroom where we enjoyed room service 4 times for breakfast. That is a great memory all on it's own. Also, the room itself was large and had of plenty of storage More (I am a notorious over-packer). We felt like we had plenty of room just to hang out when we wanted to. The flat screen TV was a very nice feature to view our account, see the location of the ship, plan and reserve excursions and other activities.

Captain Demitrius made an announcement almost every day at noon. He is very charming.

The Solstice is a first class Ship and we can't wait to board it again Less

Only shopped for a little while, but Old San Juan is charming

We found the peddlers on the beach to be annoying. We wished we had picked a different beach to spend our time.

Loved Tortola. Very nice beach. We had blast driving up and down the mountain to go over the island to get to the beach. The island itself was just beautiful.
