We sailed from Fort Lauderdale with our group of 8 on Jan 23. Embarkation was a breeze as we are platinum and they allowed our group to all use the special boarding line. We were on board by 11:50 and our luggage was in our room by 1:30. Our room was directly above one of the restaurants on the Promenade so we were awakened every monring at 6am by the staff prepping the kitchen.

We have sailed on RCCL 7 times, and this was the largest ship we have been on. Adventure was the next largest. In 7 cruises this was the only time I have felt crowded. The Windjammer was always crowded, no matter what the hour. The pool decks were jammed with people every moment the sun was out. The promenade was very crowded, and the casino was crowded and smoky.

I climbed the rock wall, it is a cool 43 feet high, and the flowrider was a hoot to watch. We played mini putt, and it was a challenge to play as it was very windy our first two days at sea.
