We were on the valor Jan 31st to Feb 7th. We have been on 19 cruises so know what to expect. The valor met our expectations in most areas. Embarkation and debarkation went very smoothly. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Food selections were better than normal with dishes I have not seen on cruise menus before. Production shows were great. The second one featured music from the 80s. I have wondered for years if lines would finally move out of the 50s/60s music to reflect a younger demographic. There were 3 comedians with each having a family show and a late night adult rated show. We have never seen 3 comedians in one week.

Big Tex the cruise director was great. He was informative and factual. Not over the top hokey and full of dumb jokes like many cruise directors.

Our only slight detraction about the trip was that our dinner waiter was disorganized and we often got our dinner served while others were already eating dessert,

Cabin 8A

Cabin was fine. Three closets! Not much drawer space. Comfy large bed and pillows
