Overall a great experience. Few glitches here and there, food not as good as Holland but certainly no complaints, unless you were a vegetarian who didn't like curry and wanted to eat in the dining room! Excellent dining room staff who worked very hard. My time dining was a little cramped for the number of users - this could be improved for sure. Entertainment was first class, loved them all, and was totally not prepared for the calibre of the RC dancers and singers - well done!
Not a lot of choice for mid evening events unless you wanted to hit the bars late at night - no dessert nights or such.
Biggest disappointment was the poor showing by the guests, particularly males, who wore very casual clothes to semi casual and dress evenings. Staff should enforce these rules and send them to the windjammer, which is how they were dressed. Come on guys, leave the tshirts at home. I like comfort but you can step it up a notch once in a while....
Disembarking in SD was a schmozzle, over 2 hrs to get off the boat...surely they can come up with a computerized system to speed it up, and also to deal with those few guests who believe they are above standing in line to go thru immigration, instead preferring to have themselves paged and hold up the entire ship...grr!
RC could certainly change their smoking areas for sure - keep them OUTSIDE, but keep them OFF the running track for petes sake. Get them out of the bars and casino, they can smoke outside, and absolutely off the balcony areas....the world is changing, and most smokers are following much more stringent guidelines than provided by RC!
