How We Avoided the Snowmageddon! Review of Carnival Dream - Jan 30-Feb 6, 2010

After reading the Cruise Critic comments and expecting some bad moments this is what we have to report. Just to give you a bit of a background, we are seasoned travelers in our early 60s who chose the Carnival Dream for our first cruise. Would highly recommend this cruise to others with some tips/caveats.

1. Embarkation: excellent - Takes 40 minutes from luggage drop off to onboard. We heard that your pre-boarding voice mail message two days prior to departure is to sequence passenger. We were given 1:30-3:30, others were told to be there at 10:30, still others at another time. It helps stagger the 3,901 passengers' embarkation.

Cabin Review

Massive storage space with 3 closets, underbed storage as well as many shelves and nooks and if you cannot live for a week in this space, you are a hoarder!
