This was a cruise to celebrate my father's retirement. My room was myself, husband (both in our 40s), 9 year old son, and 6 year old daughter. We were in a Grand Suite. We also traveled with my parents (who are diamond plus), my 22 year old sister and her boyfriend, and my other sister, her husband (also in their 40s), my 8 year old niece, and my 12 year old nephew. Arrival was super easy. We got to the port about 10 am. Check in was a breeze. There was a dedicated waiting area for the suites. The had comfy seats and refreshments. We were able to board just at 11 am. We went straight to the Windjammer for lunch and had no issues. To summarize, I will do this in categories.

Ship

The Oasis of the Seas had a lot to offer. The ship was large but never really seemed crowded except in the Promenade for the July 4th balloon drop. The amount of things available was perfect for my family. In fact, there were some things we didn't get a chance to try. It is showing a little age and it's coming dry dock will probably be just what it needs.

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

Our Grand Suite was perfect for my family of 4. I do suggest if you have people using the sofa bed, have them turn it back to a sofa during the day. It made a big difference in the feel of the room. There was ample storage space and hangers. There were even 2 large medicine cabinets and large drawers in the bathroom. I didn't need any additional storage. The suitcases fit under the bed for storage. Our balcony was the perfect size. With 2 chairs by the small table and 2 chairs with footrests, all 4 of us could enjoy at the same time. The bathroom was larger than I was expecting. Two people could easily be in there at the same time. It is a bit of a large step to get into the tub/shower combo but the threshold of the bathroom is not very high. For our itinerary, we were on the correct side of the ship. We were on the side towards the pier when docked. I know that won't always be the case if there are multiple ships in port. This was the perfect room for my family and I would book it again.

Labadee

This was an amazing beach day. The beach wasn't crowded and the water was super clear.
