We arrived to Fort Lauderdale on the Friday and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Convention Center.Staff is always ready to help and the room was very clean. Shuttle service is free form airport to the hotel. We took a taxi from the hotel to the ship and the cost was only $12.00 including tipping. Embarkation didn't take to long although the lines were half full when we arrived. We carried our luggage with us so we could dress up for the evening. Staff on the ship ws always helpful and smiley. We had reserved room 1334 which is in the middle of the ship on Riviera deck. Our room was immaculate and we were astonished to find that every time we came back to the room anything that we used previously has been cleaned and place back were it should be. Carnival must have use spy to tell staff the we left the room. We had chosen the early sitting and only disappointment is that we were given was in a hidden corner dining room. Food was excellent, the selection is good and we could have other plates as we wished. Congratulations to Slavka from Bulgaria and Natalie from Hungary our 2 lovely servers. We fund that the staff was putting to much pressure for drinks, (especially one server from the Philippines)enough pressure that made me complained to the service desk. I also been billed for two drinks I never ordered, I notice that when we returned to our room looking at my expenses on the TV screen. The service desk cancel the charge immediately when I made my complain. Entertainment is great and shows at the theater are typical Las Vegas shows. Entertainers are fully professionals. Because we carried our luggage with us, we could disembarked the ship anytime we wanted.
I was disappointed of Carnival because our original booking was for St-Marteen on the Carnival Liberty and the changed made did not meet what we had planed.
As we had took the early saver we hat to pay $100.00 penalty to change our cruise but this is forgotten after we did this cruise.
