Embarkation in Miami was a bit slow and our stateroom was not ready for a few hours. Our luggage was delivered soon after we were able to enjoy our first visit to our room. Unpacked (plenty of storage), participated in the safety drill (seems to take a long time when waiting to return to our veranda and relax). We met our neighbors and arranged to have dinner together. The GDR was full and we were redirected to Polo (fine with us). The food in all the venues was delicious. We will add some comments to the message board about favorite in the restaurants. We had a cabana for this cruise and although we did not use it every day, when we did, it was delightful and quite comfortable. It is true that the optional fan and mister keep the area cool. We spent much of the day of the P.C. crossing and another at sea day in our cabana and the service was very good. Other days we only went up to read and relax for a couple of hours and one day was too hot for us and the last day too cool. The cabana is very expensive and we will probably not do it again for a whole trip but just a day at a time. As others have written, there were several empty cabanas everyday. The relaxation on the ship is one of our favorite memories; so many places to sit and read or just look out into the sea. We did see a whale and hundreds of dolphins (in separate schools and on different days). The man and woman who tended our cabin were good and the room service staff were good. There seemed to be a limited amount of communication/conversation probably due to staff that did not speak much English. There was not a sense of connection with staff as there has been on our other recent cruises but everyone seemed very busy and really did not have time to chat. We attended Happy Hour on most nights and Horizons offered the best views and Martini's the best friendly and cohesive atmosphere (IMO) Disembarkation was very efficient although we had requested early departure for our flight (10:45 out of L.A.) which we made with no problems. We did tip the Porter to gather our luggage and get us into a taxi and on our way, so it may have helped move us along. I sit here typing and "feeling" the ship rocking!!!

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A3

Fine choice, close to restaurants and shops and guest services. Ample storage. Veranda fine for sitting, Bathroom is small but works well. The bed is wonderfully comfortable. Internet is expensive.
