My husband and I cruised on this boat leaving Port Canaveral on Jan. 23. Our favourite cruise line is Holland America, but we were drawn to this new boat and it's extensive spa. Although we paid extra for access to the spa as well as our cabin on the spa deck, it was well worth it!! While the rest of the boat was overcrowded, the spa was always quiet and serene. We have enough stress during our work year that we don't want to fight "traffic" on our holiday as well. Unfortunately, no matter where we went- the lido deck, the elevators, the theatre, even trying to get a deck chair, we got frustrated with the crowds and gave up. Even the "library" was ridiculously small compared to other boats. You couldn't even get coffee there!! We always ended up back in the spa where it was quiet and relaxing. The spa staff was incredible and the treatments were equal to the best we've had. The room and dining staff were very kind and helpful, but unfortunately we did not make much use of the dining room as we requested an early seating and were assigned a late one. We asked to be reassigned, but were told it was not possible. We tried, but eating until 10 o'clock was not comfortable for us. The ports were great, but unfortunately, we couldn't dock at Costa Maya due to high winds. A fun day at sea was arranged, but again, the boat was packed with nowhere to go. All in all, this is a beautiful boat with a great staff, but way too overcrowded for our tastes. We'll choose a smaller boat next time.
