This was our first cruise and we absolutely loved it! We decided to stay in San Juan the night before at the Caribe Hilton. Lovely hotel, very clean, friendly staff. The only downfall was that the beach was not that great but it was perfect for one or two nights. We ate at Morton's restaurant. A little expensive but it was fantastic!

The following day we boarded the ship around 1:00pm. We were a little worried about the boarding process because we heard some bad stories. It couldn't have been easier! We were on the ship within minutes. We had lunch at the Windjammer and as soon as we were finished eating our room was ready (2:00pm). We stayed in room 2546. It was on the second floor of the ship. We didn't mind being on a lower deck as we had quick access to the debarkation area for the ports. We also found that we felt more waves on higher decks than on ours.

We had an ocean view room. The room was very small but we weren't expecting much as it was a last minute deal. The size of the window was decent. The closet was well organized and had enough space for clothes for two adults. There were also plenty of drawers as well. The bathroom was very small with not a lot of counter space.

The bathroom was very small with not a lot of counter space. Our biggest complaint was the lack of any area/space to put our luggage so they ended up sitting on top of the sofa which limited the amount of usable space for us to sit in our cabin. The decor is a little dated but everything was clean. I wouldn't recommend this room for more than 2 people.
