This was the second cruise for me and my husband on the Carnival Conquest from Galveston. We live in North Houston so Galveston cruises are easy to make. If you drive though the best thing to do is stay at a Galveston hotel because many offer free parking while you are on the cruise and they drop you off and pick you up when you return. If you just drive consider Dolphin Parking. Sylvia runs a great place and their website offers a $5 off coupon. Dolphin will take you and your luggage to the ship and pick you up when you return. No waiting.

Boarding the ship this time was a little time consuming but sometimes that happens. Usually boarding doesn't take as long as it did this particular time. I don't know what the problem was but we made it.

The ship looked really good. The staff upbeat and ready to go. I like that feeling.

Cabin Review

Cabin BAL

Cabin 1006 Forward...Nice location at the top of the ship. Great view and excellent location for spa users which was one deck up.
