Western Caribbean was a blast!

Sail Date: January 2010
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Galveston

Fabulous trip, even in January with bitter weather in Galveston! Sailed on the Voyager of the Seas and loved it. Roatan was beautiful and we hired a cab to take us all over the island. Great stop, lovely weather! Next to Costa Maya where it was very warm, the water was crystal clear, and we walked on the beach. In Cozumel we booked the tour of the Mayan Ruins and it was FABULOUS! Many more than I expected! We have ALWAYS had great tours by booking thru RCCL.

Our stateroom had a balcony and every morning room service brought our tea and coffee to us while we enjoyed the exquisite scenery while sipping our beverages. Great service! Our room was average for a balcony stateroom but we had plenty of room for everything we needed. Really good food and I adore the coconut bars the Windjammer has the first afternoon of the cruises. Breakfast in the Diamond dining room with first class service and five star food. This is a MUST DO AGAIN! Less

Closet was plenty big enough. Bathroom is adorably small but works well for 2 of us. Bed is SO comfortable. Great balcony and our room was directly across from the library and only a few steps from the elevator. Really quiet and convenient.

Port and Shore Excursions

Beautiful little town with fabulous food and great stores. Try the locally made ice-cream which is to die for! Sandy beaches, warm crystal blue water...I'm going back!

Another terrific port! We had fresh coconuts cut open so we could drink the water, yummy! More Mayan ruins even more fantastic than I'd imagines. Ate fresh pineapple on the beach. Fabulous!

REALLY REALLY cold but it was January! Wonderful place for long walks and great fish!

Beautiful, green, rustic. Crystal clear water so blue it looked like the sky. Loads of fish swimming visible thru the water. Hire a cab and take a tour of the whole island, very reasonable and the views are incredible!
