We have been cruising for 20 years with our family. We have made many wonderful memories along the way, and this trip was no exception. Each person can do what they want, but you are still all together on the ship.

We left our home and drove to Galveston on Sunday morning. No traffic going through Houston - yea! Arrived at port, checked in easily, and we were on the ship by noon. Headed up to Windjammer for a good lunch. Tables were mostly full because everyone was waiting for 1:00 when they could get in their cabins. Throughout the cruise, service was excellent in the Windjammer - taking away dishes, bringing drinks, etc.

Our cabins were adjoining Grand Suites and they were beautiful. So much storage space, mirrors everywhere, double sinks in the bath, tub/shower, small refrigerator (which we emptied and put in our own cokes & water bottles), huge double balcony with brand-new brown wicker table & chairs. They were just being unwrapped from their packaging when we arrived. Bedding & curtains looked fresh & new, furniture (couch & 2 chairs) was comfy. A flat screen TV is needed to go with the nice Bose speakers that are in the suite.
