We stayed the night before our cruise at the Raddison @ The Port and had a wonderful time. Weather in Cape Canaveral was cool and windy but still very nice. Took Royal Taxi to the port, the hotel shuttles were very backed up... Got to the port around 10:30, walked right in and got our Sea Passes. We were onboard by 11:00am and on our way to the Windjammer for our Honey Stung chicken. They did not open the doors to the cabins until 1:05pm, but the wait was worth it! Our hump balcony cabin on portside was beautiful.

Our cabin had a huge closet and ample storage. The flat screen TV was very nice. Our cabin steward was Gregory and he was super. We spoke with him on arrival, mentioned specific "wants" and all our requests were filled each day. He made the cutest towel animals to greet us each evening.

Food and Entertainmen were awesome. We had MTD but had the same table and waitstaff whenever we ate in the Dining Room. In the Windjammer we also had the same waitstaff and never lacked for anything. We ate twice in Portifino's. There is no equal to their food! We had the filet on the first night and twin lobster tails on the second. There is no better sfood or staff to be found! All of the shows in the Arcadia Theater were fantastic!! You have to see Drew Thomas and his magic show. We're not big on magicians, but this fellow is not to be missed. Met him later on deck and he chatted with us for awhile. He is a very friendly young man who really seems very surprised at the many compliments he gets. His beautiful wife Rebecca works alongside him in his show and she is great, also. The farewell show was one of the best we've ever attended, Allen Brooks was the CD and he was so much fun! Hope to see him again!

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

D1 on portside hump was wonderful!! Closet space was adequate, suitcases fit under the bed easily. Balcony was perfect.
