Three couples in our early sixties from Virginia flew down to Tampa; 5 nights with stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel. Have absolutely nothing to complain about. The ship is in great shape, it is hard to imagine her being almost 15. The shows and lounge/pool entertainment were suprisingly good for a short cruise. The entire staff were courteous and efficient. Nice linens, fluffy towels, not a worn carpet or tattered chair to be found. As for the food, the buffets were above your average cruise fare and dinners were prime rib, lobster, beef fillets, tempura, etc....varied, tasty and well served.

A bit chilly in Tampa and on our first sea day, but other than that, sunny days and smooth sailing. If you haven't been there, Costa Maya is a "stop made specifically for cruise ships kind of like a private island" down next to Belize. The port and its little fishing village close by was apparently ravaged by a hurricane a couple of years back, but seems to be rebounding nicely. The beaches, beers and shopping in town were nice and a bargain. Make sure you get a massage in town...fantastic; $20 for an hour. We cabbed out to Chankanaab while in Cozumel as we have done on previous stops; a nice relaxing day.

I said earlier there was nothing to complain about (whoops, I did have a stained coffee cup one morning). I was expecting much less; after all an older ship, a short little 5 day cruise, and as I repeat myself yet again, it was quite inexpensive.
