We enjoyed our getway weekend. We normally take 7+ day cruises, but this was a cheap getaway and thought we'd try it.
I'm only going to mention the things that I think might have value so here we go.
Transportation: We got an awesome deal from LAX to LB via Execucar which is an offshoot of Super Shuttle. we paid $41 for a private mini van each way. I couldn't find anything close to this price as shuttles were $75 and up. Recommend!
