For background, my wife and I are in our 50's and live in Michigan. We have seven cruises with RCI ( eight credits) counting this one and nineteen Cruises together all in all. Have sailed Carnival, NCL, Disney, and a number of Celebrity and Princess. All but two of these Cruises have been since 1998. We booked the Voyager as an added Cruise to get away from Winter for a week or so. We traveled on this cruise with my brother and sister in-law for about the forth time. We stayed at the Hilton on the beach for the two nights prior. The weather kept us off the beach though.

Our Cruise Critic group was pretty active and we had a number of events planned for the week including a Cabin/Poker Crawl and a Sail Away Party along with the RCI Meet and Mingle. We had late seating traditional dining and had linked the four of us up with three other CC Members from the Roll Call. We all had a great time and dinner was one of the highlights of each day.

We flew into Galveston, through Houston, two days early with the intent of enjoying some warmer weather but it was not to be. The cold front had extended all the way down there and it was in the low 40's but we made the most of it. We wandered around town and had a couple nice dinners.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Good sized Closet and bigger shower than on Jewel of the Seas. Nice location near elevators but far enough away to be quiet.
