This trip, this ship were magnificent. We had a mini-suite which was perfect for what cruises offer. The mattresses are firm and comfortable. The balconies are uncovered which is good for a suntan, but not for privacy. But that was no real problem. To be able to go outside when you want without leaving your cabin is worth the extra money. I like having my towels changed twice a day and the bed remade if you took an afternoon nap. Storage space was very adequate.

The food was quite good. I don't eat many eggs, but would have like real scrambled eggs as opposed to powdered eggs which I will not eat. They did have over-light real eggs. We don't eat pork, but I did notice a wide variety of sausages, bacon, links and patties. Fresh fruit was always available and good at all buffets. Unless they handle the crab cake offering in the restaurants, don't bother to order. The order comprised of 2 quarter- shaped pieces of bread. I don't know where the crab went. Forget that item. All other food in restaurants was excellent and well-prepared. The buffet was much better than one I recently had on Royal Caribbean.

We took the city tour of Victoria which was relaxing and informative. Victoria is beautiful. Good excursion. We also took the bus ride to the Summit in Skagway. Beautiful scenery and a great guide. The blast was the Glacier Helicopter ride at Mendenhall. We did the cheap ride ($199) and it was adequate.
