We flew to Ft. Lauderdale on New Year's eve. We stayed 2 nights at Springhill suites. It was our 2nd time there before cruising. I would recomment it to everyone. Everything is included. No extra charges. You get your room for up to 6 people, free parking while out to sea, free, very good breakfast & free transportation from the airport & to the cruise port.

We took the 1st shuttle out to the cruise port at 10:45 a.m. & were in our cabin by noon. Embarkment was a smooth trip on board.

Like I said, this was our 13th cruise, 7th on Princess & 2nd on the Crown. The ship is clean, the service is very good & so is the food. I wouldn't say the food was excellent, but very good.

We had plenty of drawer & closet space. I surely wouldn't want to be a very big person or you wouldn't fit in the showers.

We didn't have any problem with noisiness in the hallways but a few times the loud speaker coming on in the cabin was a little awakening. I think that they were having some problems with their p.a. It woke us up a few times. We didn't ever remember that happening before.
