Had a great time on Grand Princess . People say ship run down but I didn't see hardly any signs of that. Ship was always clean , Decks were freshly painted. Pools were neat and clean , Our room was nice. I didn't notice signs of wear other than there were spots of white paint on 2 of deck chairs and table in sitting area showing signs of use . Very convent room . By elevators that were located around corner so you didn't get noise from people and Elevators . ,Located in center of ship so you are half way to everything . Ive been in rooms in ft and rear of ship but you walk twice as far to get to everything . . Room was neat and clean , Balcony was nice .Only thing that took time to get used to was to get to the Botticelli Fixed seating dining room . You walked to rear of ship on deck 7 then walk down stairs to deck 6 . its not convenient . And there was some vibration in dining room when ship was underway because you were located above propellers . Shows were excellent . MUTS was very good . I v been on 28 cruises and this was one of the best Ive been on . Hardly any motion noticed , 1 to 3 ft waves after 3rd day . 3 ships before us and 2 after didn't tender to Princess cays because of high waves . About the only thing I can really complain about was the Casino was the tightest of any casino Ive ever played in . Ive played in a lot of Casinos and when you hit over 90 bonus rds . over 7 days and of the 90 only get $50 with max bets its time to quit . I hit 8 bonus rds one day and 7 of 8 paid nothing . Ive never seen this anywhere . But I toned way down my betting and just made mim . bets to kill time . Horizon Ct . Buffets were always hot , Well taken care of neatly displayed and a little variety daily . I do like the fresh waffles at Ice Cream station each morning . The fresh fruit toppings were nice. Evening meals were excellent . I had no complaints of what I ordered . The steaks arrived hot and cooked as I ordered . I enjoyed both of The specialty restaurants . Food again arrived hot and was as ordered . I did enjoy the PUB lunch . The fish and chips were very good . The best meal was the Chefs table that I really enjoyed . Food was outstanding , Presentation was 2nd to none . I would recommend it to anyone .I really enjoy the food on ships and I had no complaints at all on the grand . Ships personal was very friendly and always ready to help.
