Sail Date: Mar 2009
Cabin: Junior Suite

We planned this vacation well in advance, nearly a year and a half out, to give all our friends and family plenty of time to prepare for it. The trip was chosen because it went to Aruba and Curacao. We were pleased that the ship sailed from San Juan, but it did hamper one couple in our group.

Booking the room through our travel agent was seamless - we got a Junior Suit for less then people were paying for balconies - and the room was great. Spacious closet, over sized seating area, and the must have balcony.

We opted to go to Dorado, Puerto Rico for a few days of relaxation before sailing. We never like to get into a city on the day of sailing (just in case) so opted to fly out 4 days early, stay at a resort and do some local site seeing. This was a vacation in and of itself and I would definitely do this again and recommend it to anyone flying all the way to PR to sail. The 8 other couple were all coming in at least a day ahead of the sail date and were to meet up at various times. One couple was bounced from 2 flights on the way down, had to spend a night in New Jersey, and the airline lost their luggage. Luckily they had time to rectify the situation, but it could have been disastrous.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Junior Suit - Huge walk in closet, great balcony, room walls were adequately thick, full size tub in bath, always had hot water when needed, all amenities in room worked, not near any of the "loud" zones.
