This was my second cruise and a first for my husband. First impressions of the ship were very positive. Nice and spacious and beautifully finished and liked all the artwork sprinkled round the ship - although not terribly impressed with the artwork of two dirty hankies!! I loved the solarium and the gym was very well equipped. Thought our Deck 9 balcony stateroom was excellent - Juan our attendant kept it lovely and clean in an unobtrusive manner. It was quiet, well designed and equipped with kingsize bed and a nice spacious shower.

Like an earlier reviewer we noticed the dodgy smell on some decks - Deck 3 in particular and on one day they sprinkled carpet deodoriser all round that deck. We liked the live music around the ship and saw some of the shows which were very good. Did not use the Spa as I thought the price of the treatments was outrageous.

Food at the start of the cruise was excellent - although we thought that the quality deteriorated as the cruise went on (more on this later). We were sat at a table for 6 and Faruk our waiter in the Sillouhette Restaurant looked after us very well all through the cruise. We ate in Murano once which was fantastic and can recommend it.

Quite spacious, nice balcony with comfy seating. Comfortable kingsize bed and good pillows. Nice and quiet with no through traffic - and unobstructed views. Bathroom excellent - plenty of storage and a lovely spacious shower. Towels could be a bit bigger. Nice toiletries.
