The Crown Princess is a beautiful ship. Embarkation was efficient. The food on this cruise was even better than other cruises we have taken. The production shows were well done. The musicians and other entertainers were excellent as well. The only negative was the weather.Another 5 degrees would have been appreciated. Our cruising has emphasized sightseeing.Princess has the best shore excursions of any line and the best organization for embarkation on these excursions. There is also the peace of mind that the ship will not leave without you if you are on their excursion. This cruise was our first truly R and R cruise. The selected shore excursions at each port were beach related. Discover Mexico is an interesting place to visit in Cozumel. The highlight of this cruise was the Ultimate Ship Tour.It seems to be pricey at $150 but is worth every penny. We met the captain on the Bridge;toured back stage;visited the laundry;toured the Galley (much more extensively than on the usual galley tour);saw the nerve centre of the engine room;viewed the printing room;and experienced the Funnel on a cold windy day.In all areas of the ship the crew thoroughly described what occurred in their area and ansered any questions we had.
