As a first time cruiser, I was not really sure what to expect. Freinds had for years tried to talk us into joining them on their annual cruise, and we finally gave in and said what the heck. Well to say that we were blown away would be an understatement. From the time we boarded to the moment we left, everything met or exceeded our expectations. I was told that the Century was a smaller boat, if that is the case I look forward to our next cruise, which I have been told will be on a larger boat. First of all the crew was amazing, each took the time to acknowledge each guest in passing, were extremely pleasent, professional and helpful thoughout our voyage. We decided on sharing a room with our daughters this time, while it was feasable, next year we will certainly get them their own cabin, first for the privacy and secondly the space. The food, especially in the Grand Restaurant was fanastic and the service top notch. One comment would be that the last dinner of the cruise was the least impressive in terms of choice, Spaghetti and Meat Balls I can make at home and the Sefood Linguini was just ok. However on the first four night the choice and quality was incredible.The waiters and Sommelier were awesome and made each meal an experience. The kids, whom we rarely saw, had a ball and like us are anxious to plan next years vacation. They were never board and certainly never hungry, and we were comfortable know that they were always safe and with freinds. I would certainly book on the Century again, the Celebrity Life series was great, my wife and I enjoyed 3 seperate and informative wine seminars. I hope they continue this activity, it was a huge hit with the passengers.
