Quick background: DH and I are around 50 and have cruised twice before with Princess. We like Port Intensive Cruises. We brought our 2 college sons (23 and 20) for a family vacation and their first cruise. DH and I were in a balcony room and DS had an oceanview. Everything below is opinion only and I apologize but I'm a rambler.

First just to get it out of the way, the weather was crappy on this cruise. We only had 1 day of sun in Cozumel. Other days were cool, overcast and/or windy. The only good thing is it never seemed to pour rain on us on our excursions.

We arrived in NOLA on Saturday, it was cool but we walked around in the late afternoon, had a nice dinner (Red Fish Grill), and walked around a bit more. We stayed at the Embassy Suites near the Convention Center.
