I have to imagine most of the people who write positive, glowing reviews for the Carnival Sensation 3 day cruise out of Port Canaveral into the Bahamas must work for Carnival and are sandbagging the reviews. Either that or they are yahoos who have no idea what quality and higher expectations look like.

OK - can't control the weather and it's cold in December regardless of where you go. But on a 3 day cruise where on 2 1/2 days the top deck and slide are closed... well it's a bad start. One VERY small pool for 2000 guests and two small hot tubs filled with a mixture of small children with out swim diapers and older "people" who were more like wild animals with no parental supervision. The first night the sea was so rough many people were barfing in the stairwells, which was cleaned up promptly. This was actually a highlight.

we had a comfortable balcony room on the same deck as arrival and departure and although the bed was comfortable, the kids berths come down over your head and feet. food was really ordinary. The sit down dinners were so middle of the road it made me feel I was heating up something from Sam's club - which brings me to the lobster! Oh the big deal people made of the lobster - and then it arrived... off the shell and looking very much like the frozen kind you see in the supermarket. I wish it had tasted that good. Seriously people - if a lobster dinner is REALLY that important to you then get a room in a hotel, hang out in the pool and eat at Red Lobster. The food is about as good, chances are if the pool is indoors it will be heated and you can save a few hundred, if not thousand dollars.
