For a brief cruise out of New Orleans, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The most lasting impression on this cruise was the service and friendliness of the staff, from dining to housekeeping, and everywhere aboard ship. Tips are automatically added to the bill, and prior experience showed that staff typically expects additional tipping. Not on the Triumph. When I tipped for special or additional service, it was always received as if unexpecte, and with very much appreciation. The staff always treated me as a guest in their home, always wanting to be sure there was nothing I needed. The food was good, the ship was nice. The only issue I had with the ship was that there were only two decks on which one could cross from one end to the other. One deck was through the Casino, which was smoky, the other through the pool area, which was outside. Overall, very good experience.
